Dentistry Routine cleaning and polishing. A dental cleaning is a procedure done while the pet is under anesthesia. It is done to clean and if necessary, extract any loose and diseased teeth. Dogs and cats are prone to gum disease and excess tarter build-up on the teeth. Food particles and bacteria collect along the gum line forming plaque. Tarter and plaque is irritating to the gums and causes bad breath!
Diagnostics Ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, and in house laboratory.
Diet & Nutrition Complete line of premium diets and supplements. Veterinary medicine has made great strides in recent years. Pets are now enjoying much longer and more trouble-free lives with the aid of qualified and conscientious health care professionals.
General Health For the protection of you and your family, our Doctor should see your pet at least twice a year. Dogs and cats should both be on monthly heartworm protection and tested yearly for heartworms. Yearly blood work on adult pets and twice a year complete panel blood work on geriatric pets is highly recommended.

Puppy & Kittens Vaccinations Puppies should begin vaccinations at 6 weeks of age, while kittens begin at 8 weeks. Boosters are needed to maintain health protection. Boosters are given in 2-3 week intervals until the pet has reached the age of 16 weeks.
Microchip For the security of your pet, the staff at The Pet Care Clinic highly recommends that you microchip your family friend. Should your pet ever be lost or stolen, the best chance of your pet returning to your family is through the use of microchip scanning and tracking.
